   We are almost there -- 40 days since WTY. To celebrate the conclusion of our 40 day meditation we will meet at 2308 N. Richland on next Thursday combining efforts with Caring Coalition, see specifics below!

   Those of you not able to join us in physical form, please find your own way to celebrate!

Yogi Bhajan gave us the post-tantric 11 minute silent meditation for 40 days.  (Same as the first Kriya of morning & afternoon with just Jupiter fingers straight up and others locked, hands at heart center.)  Facilitator responded that if you are inspired to have music/mantra in the background the Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo fits best.  This 40 day meditation completes on Thursday, April 3.  Yoga Phoenix is hosting a meditation, camp fire visit and chant, pot luck dinner, and Caring Coalition packaging of healthy items for neighborhood children to have proper nutrition for the weekend.  Join the community unity project and celebrate our completion together with community kindness.  Event begins at 6:00pm, same time as Caring Coalition meets each Thursday. (Use side gate to patio of 2308 N. Richland street.)

  Those of you around the world can join in spirit and have your own local gatherings and/or celebrations the same day.

 

  Set your intentions for WTY in Phoenix January 31st, 2015! Between now and then, invite all your friends to join you!  We are happy to serve 200 or 300 with ease.

Please feel welcome to bring a potluck item or an item for the children, details are listed below.

*The Caring Coalition provides nutritional support to Phoenix Elementary Students in need of nutritional support. This is a joint venture, including the Sikh Community, other Phoenix faith communities, and the Coronado Neighborhood. Weekend food is provided for 20 Emerson Elementary School Students in need of nutritional support weekly. 10 nonperishable, individually pre packaged healthy snack items are bagged up and delivered to Emerson School weekly. These packages are distributed to the student but the social worker and school nurse to the children whom are in the greatest need of support. The following is the criteria for the food provided, per the School Districts request and Caring Coalition Standards.

> Easy open packaging
> No nuts
> Sugar content 22 grams per serving or less
> No High Fructose Corn Syrup
> Minimal additives and preservatives
> No preparation needed
