Preparing for White Tantric Yoga

As we are getting closer to the day of White Tantric Yoga, we have prepared some information that we hope will help everyone to get ready for this big event. Some of these information can be found at whitetantricyoga.com, and some are from our staff's personal experience. Please take your time to read through this. Also, remember that you are participating in White Tantric Yoga for your own well-being. Come with an open mind and heart. Trust your own intuition, and be ready to do the best that you can and have a wonderful time!  

Who can participate
There are no prerequisites for participating in White Tantric Yoga. Beginners will tune into their internal energies and enjoy a deep and sometimes challenging meditative experience. More advance meditators will deepen their experience and make new inroads to their spiritual awareness.

How to prepare for White Tantric Yoga
Wear loose comfortable white clothing. White combines all colors and enhances the magnetic field and auric strength.

Bring a white cotton head covering which will stay secure on your head during the exercises.

Bring a blanket or sheepskin to sit on and a light blanket to cover yourself with during relaxation. You can also bring a small cushion or pillow to sit on if your hips need a little extra support. 

Bring a bottle of water. This is a clenasing process, you will need to stay hydrated through the day. Water and yogi tea will also be provided at the venue. 

Try to eat healthy and avoid caffeine a few days before White Tantric Yoga. 

Get enough sleep the day before White Tantric Yoga. 

Participants may bring their own snacks. Something light and healthy such as nuts and fruits are good. Some snacks will be available at the venue. 

Any yoga and meditation that you practice prior to White Tantric Yoga will contribute to your experience. If you like, practice some stretches for the hips and spine such as cat-cow, archer pose, butterfly pose, life nerve stretch and spinal flex. Taking yoga classes can also help you to get ready for White Tantric Yoga. The teachers at Yoga Phoenix have experience with White Tantric Yoga. Feel free to talk to any of our teachers to learn more about White Tantric Yoga. 

What to do after the course:
Keep practicing yoga and meditation. The effect from White Tantric Yoga will continue after the event, Any yoga and meditation that you do will support you in this cleansing process. 

Take yoga classes to keep up with the vibration. Talk to fellow students and teachers, share your White Tantric Yoga experience with each other. 

Some meditators commit to a 40 day meditation after White Tantric Yoga. This is a good way to cultivate a new, healthy habit. 

Keep up with a healthy lifestyle. Choose healthy food, avoid caffeine and alcohol.
