Siri Singh Sahib's Birthday Celebration
Please join the Kundalini Yoga community in Phoenix on Wednesday, August 26, to celebrate the Siri Singh Sahib's (aka Yogi Bhajan) birthday. Every year we gather on this day to remember and honor our teacher by chanting 2 1/2 hours of Long Ek Ong Kar.
This year our goal is to gather 60 people to meditate together! Yogi Bhajan once said that when 60 people meditate together in Phoenix, it will raise the energy to a higher level. Let's us all come together and meditate, and see how powerful we can be as ONE!

Love Your Soul
If you must choose, choose happiness over misery, choose to love yourself.
If you must quit, quit self-damaging habits.
Remember this: You are made of love, and you are meant to be happy. Follow your Sat Nam.
(Sat: truth. Nam: Identity)

Guru Ram Das Chant on August 21st
On Wednesday, August 21, 2013, the yogic community at Yoga Phoenix gathered at 6:00 pm to perform the Guru Ram Das Chant to celebrate Yogi Bhajan's birthday. There were around 11 participants.
A big thanks to Sat Nam Singh who led the chant on the harmonium. The rhythm was beautiful. We chanted together in one voice and joined as one heart. Prayers were heard and spirits were elevated. It was an absolutely divine and uplifting experience!
Thank you to all who participated. The Guru Ram Das chant will continue at different locations until Monday, August 26, the actual day of Yogi Bhajan's birthday. On that day we will have a special morning sadhana to celebrate the occasion.
