Join Haritej Kaur on a journey into the self through Kundalini Yoga and art.

In this session we will practice yogic stretches and meditation to get rid of the blockages and fear that have been holding us back from connecting with our true self and expressing our inner truth. Kundalini Yoga and meditation will create a safe and sacred space for self-expression, connects us to the experience of this journey toward the self, and we will learn to express this experience using basic art materials.

Drawing paper and materials will be provided. Students are welcome to bring own supplies (dry medium only) such as charcoal, pastel, color pencils, drawing board, apron…etc, in addition to yoga gears.

A student from previous session enjoyed art making after Kundalini Yoga.

Saturday, July 19: Full Hour Chakra Gong Healing with Jaap Kaur

Strengthen your nerves and calm the mind with the healing sound of the gong.

Create and hold a calm space so chaos cannot disturb you.

“In your life, the worst thing that eats you up inside is when you remember your past – it is very anti-God. Yesterday is gone.” Yogi Bhajan

Jaap Kaur trained at the Master's Touch and the Japji Courses with Yogi Bhajan in 2002 and 2003.

She completed the 5-module Level 2 Kundalini Yoga teacher training (500 hours cert) and is a Kundalini Yoga Associate Teacher Trainer, progressing toward Professional Trainer.

She is IKYTA certified yoga teacher for Kundalini Yoga and Yoga Alliance Certified.

Jaap Kaur enjoys sharing her experiences of vibrating and living Yogi Bhajan's teachings to bring inner knowing and peace. She understands and relates the technical reasons behind the science of Kundalini Yoga to motivate students to see themselves doing everything perfectly--angles and triangles, mudras, meditations, breath, eyes, and relaxation.

Jaap Kaur's use of the gong progresses through the chakras for balancing and allows for deeper healing and integration during this meditative relaxation.

Tuesday, July 22: Riding the Naad with Nam Kamal

Join us for a fun evening of Riding the “Naad” or Sound Current.

After tuning up our chakra’s, we will work on perfecting the “Ong” which is the Bij or seed sound and the primal vibration from which all vibration came into ex-istence. We will then tap into the sound of our breath, the “So Hung”.

Combining this powerful permutation “Ong So Hung”, we will vibrate the sound to create the state of Sehaj where an individual begins to flow with the flow of the universe and every action becomes effortless where – One becomes All and All becomes One.

This class is an opportunity to discover your own tones that activate the cells within your body and assist in creating union with the Cosmos.

No previous experience necessary. Just bring your voice and a sense of humor!

Nam Kamal (Cathy) has long been a fan of many of the early pioneers in Harmonics and Sound Healing and has actively engaged in toning and chanting mantra over the years. She completed Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training in 2012 and was instantly attracted to the vibrational technology of the Naad. It has been said “There is no sweeter sound for the Soul to hear than that of one’s own voice.”

Tuesday, July 22: Awareness Through Movement from the Feldenkrais Method with Erin

Awareness Through Movement is NOT offered in July. We apologize for the mistake. Please check back later for future updates on this event.
